The Manage Labels feature allows you to organize, update, and maintain all labels within your ChatMaxima workspace. You can easily activate, deactivate, edit, or delete labels to keep your workspace clean and well-structured.
Go to the Settings tab from the sidebar in your dashboard. Under Settings, click Labels, and then open the Manage Labels section to view all active and deactivated labels.
Each label displays key details such as:
Label Name
Assigned Color
Status (Active/Deactivated)
Creation Date
The Manage Labels section has two categories:
Active Labels – Displays all currently active labels.
Deactivated Labels – Displays all labels that are no longer active but can be reactivated or modified.
Select the desired label under the Active Labels section and click the Actions button. Choose Edit Label to open the update page. You can change the label name, color, or other details, then click Update Label to save changes.
Under Active Labels, click the Actions dropdown next to a label and select Deactivate Label. The label will move automatically to the Deactivated Labels section.
Click the Actions button next to the label you want to remove and select Delete Label. Once confirmed, the label will be permanently deleted from the system.
After editing, the updated details will immediately reflect in your workspace.
If you deactivate a label, it moves to the Deactivated Labels section but can be reactivated later if needed.
In the Deactivated Labels section, select the label and click Actions → Activate Label. The label will then move back to the Active Labels list.
Yes. You can click Edit Label under the Actions dropdown to modify the label’s name or color even before activating it.
Yes. To remove it permanently, click Actions → Delete Label under the Deactivated Labels section. This will delete the label entirely from your workspace.
When you delete a label—whether active or deactivated—it will be completely removed from the system. Deleted labels cannot be restored.
Use the search bar available in both Active and Deactivated Labels sections. Type the label name or keyword to filter results instantly.
Currently, labels can be filtered using the search bar. Sorting by date or other properties may depend on your workspace updates or admin configurations.
Use clear, descriptive names for labels.
Assign distinct colors for quick identification.
Regularly deactivate unused labels to reduce clutter.
Delete labels that are no longer relevant.
Yes, team members with the necessary permissions can view and manage labels within the workspace.
If a label is already applied to conversations, editing it will update the label name or color everywhere it is used.
No, once deleted, the label cannot be recovered. It’s recommended to deactivate instead of deleting if you may need the label later.
