The “Create Broadcast” feature allows you to send bulk messages or announcements to selected contacts or lists across multiple channels like WhatsApp, Email, or SMS. It helps automate communication and reach your audience efficiently.
To create a new broadcast, click on “Create Broadcast”, enter a Broadcast Name, choose the Target Channel and Target Account, select the Broadcast Type, define the Segment Type, and then compose your message or select a pre-approved template. Finally, click “Save Changes” or “Save and Send” to schedule or send your broadcast.
The Broadcast Name is a unique identifier for your message campaign. Choose a descriptive name that helps you recognize the purpose or target of the broadcast later (e.g., “Holiday Offers – WhatsApp” or “Product Launch – Email”).
In the Select Channel field, choose the platform you want to use for your broadcast—such as WhatsApp, Email, or SMS. The available options depend on your connected channels in ChatMaxima.
Target Account refers to the specific business account linked to your chosen channel. For example, if you select WhatsApp as the channel, choose which WhatsApp Business account to use for the broadcast.
You can choose between:
Send Message: To compose and send a custom message.
Send Template: To use an approved message template for structured communication (especially required for WhatsApp broadcasts).
When you choose Send Template, select a pre-approved template from the list, choose the Template Name, and set the Language. The preview will show how the message will appear before sending.
The Segment Type defines who will receive your broadcast. You can select:
Contacts: To send messages directly to individual contacts.
Lists: To target pre-defined groups of contacts.
Based on your Segment Type, the Select field allows you to choose either specific Contacts or Lists that should receive your broadcast.
Enter your message in the Body section. Use formatting tools to style your message, add links, or emphasize important points. You can preview the message in the Broadcast Preview section.
Yes. The Broadcast Preview section displays how your message will appear to recipients on the selected channel, ensuring your message looks exactly as intended.
Save Changes: Saves your broadcast as a draft, allowing you to review or edit it later.
Save and Send: Immediately sends the broadcast to your selected recipients or schedules it (if scheduling is enabled).
Yes, depending on your platform settings, you can choose to schedule the broadcast for a specific date and time when clicking “Save and Send.”
Check if your selected channel and target account are properly connected, and ensure that the recipients’ contact details are valid. Also, confirm that your message complies with the platform’s policies (e.g., WhatsApp template approvals).
If your template doesn’t appear, verify that it’s approved on your connected platform (e.g., WhatsApp Business) and synced with ChatMaxima. Try refreshing the template list.
