The Create and Manage Templates section allows you to create and manage WhatsApp message templates for your business accounts. It helps you organize, review, and optimize WhatsApp templates used in campaigns. You can view all linked WhatsApp numbers, their creation dates, and statuses in one dashboard.
The main page displays essential details for all connected WhatsApp business accounts, including:
WhatsApp Business Name
WhatsApp Number
Created Date
Status
A Search Box allows you to find WhatsApp accounts quickly.
You can also use the Actions dropdown to access additional functions like adding templates, managing them, or viewing performance reports.
When you select a WhatsApp account and click Actions, you will see three options:
Add Template – Create a new WhatsApp message template.
Manage Template – View and manage your existing templates.
Performance Reports – View performance analytics of your WhatsApp templates.
In this section, you can create a new WhatsApp message template by entering:
Template Name
Category
Marketing Type
Language
You can also add optional elements such as a Header, Footer, and Action Buttons for customer engagement. A Template Preview panel on the right side displays how your message will appear to recipients.
After filling in all required fields and reviewing the preview, click Save Changes to store your WhatsApp message template.
The Manage Template section allows you to view and organize your existing WhatsApp templates. Templates are grouped into three categories for easier management.
This section lists templates that are either approved or awaiting approval from Meta.
Approved Templates – Ready to use for sending campaigns.
Pending Templates – Still under review by the Meta team.
The Rejected Templates section displays templates that have been disapproved by the Meta team. You can:
Edit and resubmit these templates for review.
Request a review if you believe the rejection was in error.
The Deleted Templates section shows templates that you’ve removed. Once deleted, a template cannot be restored, and the same template name cannot be reused for 30 days.
At the top of this page, three action buttons are available:
Create Template – Open the template creation form.
Refresh – Reload the list to view the latest template updates.
Export – Download the template list for recordkeeping or analysis.
A Search Box is also available for locating templates quickly.

The Performance Reports section provides analytics and insights for all your WhatsApp templates. It helps you monitor approval status, language usage, and overall performance of templates over time.
The Performance Reports section includes three categories:
Approved & Pending Templates – Shows templates that are approved or awaiting review.
Rejected Templates – Displays templates rejected by Meta.
Deleted Templates – Lists templates removed from your account.
Each section shows the following columns:

Template Type
Language
Status
Last Updated
At the top of the page, you will find:
Create Template – To add a new WhatsApp message template.

Export – To download report data.
A Search Box is also provided to find specific templates easily.
Your template may still be under Meta review. It will appear under the Pending Templates section until approval is complete.
No. Once a template is approved by Meta, you cannot directly edit it. You will need to create a new template with the updated content.
Go to the Rejected Templates section, review the reason for rejection, edit the template content, and resubmit it for review.
No. Once deleted, a WhatsApp message template cannot be recovered. You must create a new one using a different name.
Yes. You can use the Export button available at the top of the Manage Templates or Performance Reports pages to download report data.
