The Add Message Status feature allows you to categorize messages using custom or predefined status labels. This helps teams easily identify message stages, track progress, and streamline workflows across departments.
Go to the Settings tab in your ChatMaxima dashboard, then click on Message Status. From there, select Add Message Status to create a new message status.
When adding a new message status, you need to fill in the following fields:
Message Status – Enter the name or label for the status.
Message Status Color – Select a color tag to visually represent the status.
You can also toggle between Active or Inactive before saving.
The Message Status field is used to define the title or label of the status, such as Pending, Resolved, or In Progress. It helps categorize messages clearly based on their state.
The Message Status Color allows you to assign a color code to each status. This visual cue makes it easier to quickly identify message statuses across the platform.
At the top of the form, you’ll find an Active/Inactive toggle button.
Turn it on to make the message status immediately active and available.
Turn it off to save it as inactive for later use.
After filling in all required fields and setting the status toggle, click the Add Message Status button to complete the process. Your new message status will then appear in the Manage Message Status section.
Yes, after creating a message status, you can go to the Manage Message Status section to edit its name, change its color, or activate/deactivate it anytime.
If you leave required fields like Message Status or Message Status Color empty, the system will prompt you to fill them before saving the new status.
Use clear and concise names for each status.
Assign distinct colors for easy recognition.
Keep your statuses relevant to your team’s workflow.
Avoid creating too many similar statuses to prevent confusion.
Review and update statuses regularly to keep them aligned with business processes.
