Active Knowledge Sources

1. What can I do in the “Active Knowledge Sources” section?

You can view and manage all your current knowledge sources, including Websites, Documents, and Q&A. You can also check their type, status, and creation date.

2. How do I create a new knowledge source?

Click the “Add Knowledge Source” button to create a new source. You can choose between Website, Document, or Q&A type while setting it up.

3. How can I search for a specific knowledge source?

Use the search bar at the top to find a knowledge source by its name quickly.

4. What actions can I perform on an existing knowledge source?

Select a knowledge source and click the “Actions” button. You’ll see two options — Edit Training Content and Delete Knowledge Source.

5. What happens when I click “Edit Training Content”?

When you click Edit Training Content, you’ll be redirected to the Manage Articles section, where you can edit and update the content of that particular knowledge source.

6. What happens when I delete a knowledge source?

If you click Delete Knowledge Source, it will be moved to the Deleted Knowledge Sources section. You can restore it anytime later.

7. Can I see when each knowledge source was added?

Yes, each knowledge source shows its creation date along with its type and status in the list.


Deleted Knowledge Sources

8. What is the “Deleted Knowledge Sources” section?

It stores all the knowledge sources that have been deleted from the active list. These sources are marked as inactive.

9. Can I restore a deleted knowledge source?

Yes, open the Deleted Knowledge Sources section, locate the one you want to restore, and use the Manage option to bring it back to Active status.

10. Can I search for deleted knowledge sources?

Absolutely. Use the search bar in the Deleted Knowledge Sources section to quickly find a deleted source by name.

11. What details are shown for deleted knowledge sources?

You can view each source’s type, status, and creation date, similar to the active list.

12. Is there any way to permanently delete a knowledge source?

Currently, deleted knowledge sources are stored in the Deleted section for review or restoration. Permanent deletion options may depend on your admin permissions.

 

13. How can I access the "Manage Knowledge Sources" page?

Navigate to Managing Knowledge Sources in ChatMaxima  and  begin creating your knowledgebase.
