Accessing Widget Settings

1. Where can I find the Live Chat widget settings in ChatMaxima?

Go to Dashboard → Quick Access → Channels → Web. Click on Actions → Widget Settings for your web account.

2. How do I customize my Live Chat widget in ChatMaxima?

 Inside Widget Settings, you can customize the logo, theme colors, widget options, pre-chat form, and welcome messages.

3. Where do I upload logos and images in my ChatMaxima Live Chat account?

Go to Dashboard → Quick Access → Web. Click Actions → Edit Widget Settings. Under Configure Logo, you can upload your Site Logo, Bot Logo, and add a Widget Background Image.

4. Can I change the chat widget colors to match my brand in ChatMaxima?

Yes. Go to Dashboard → Quick Access → Web, click Actions → Edit Widget Settings. In Style Your Widget, you can select the Theme Color and Theme Foreground Color.

5. Can I upload a custom greeting image or avatar for agents?

Yes. You can personalize your Live Chat widget with custom images and avatars. Go to Dashboard → Quick Access → Web, click Actions → Edit Widget Settings, and under Configure Logo, you can upload a Bot Logo or Site Logo.

6. Can I change the chat widget’s position to the left side of the screen in ChatMaxima?

 Yes. Go to Dashboard → Quick Access → Web, click Actions → Edit Widget Settings, and in Widget Options, use the toggle to set the position to Left or Right.

7. How do I enable or disable the pre-chat form?

Go to Dashboard → Quick Access → Web, click Actions → Edit Widget Settings. Inside the Widget Settings menu, navigate to the Pre-Chat Form section. There you can use the toggle button to enable or disable the form.

8. Can I add custom fields to the pre-chat form (e.g., phone number, company name)?

 To do this, go to Dashboard → Quick Access → Web, click Actions → Edit Widget Settings. Inside the Pre-Chat Form section, you can add new fields by clicking the plus symbol. You can then specify the field name, type, and whether it is a required field.
