Browse our comprehensive FAQ section to quickly find solutions, learn how to use ChatMaxima features, and get step-by-step guidance for setup, integrations, and support.

Dashboard Language

1. Where do I change the ChatMaxima dashboard language?

Click your profile picture in the top-right corner of the dashboard. The dropdown has a Language section with a searchable list of the available languages.

2. Which languages can I choose from?

The dashboard is currently available in 11 languages, each shown in its own script:

  • English, Español, Français, Italiano and Português (Brasil)

  • हिन्दी (Hindi), தமிழ் (Tamil) and తెలుగు (Telugu)

  • العربية (Arabic), Русский (Russian) and 简体中文 (Simplified Chinese)

3. Does my choice affect my teammates?

No. The language is set per user, so each member of your workspace can use ChatMaxima in a different language without affecting anyone else.

Switching Your Language

4. How do I switch my dashboard language?

Open the Language dropdown in your profile menu and select the language you want. The list has a search box, so you can type to find one quickly.

5. Does the page reload when I switch?

Yes. Your choice is saved to your account and the page reloads so every screen is rendered in the new language.

6. Why does the Language menu show a Beta badge?

Translation coverage is still expanding. The main dashboard screens are translated, and more areas are added with each release, so you may still come across occasional English text.

Requesting a Language

7. What if the language I want is not in the list?

Click Request another language below the dropdown. A window opens with a searchable list of further languages, so you can pick the one you need.

8. What happens after I submit a language request?

Your request is logged with our team and you will be notified when that language becomes available.

What the Setting Covers

9. Does this change what my customers see in a chat?

No. This setting changes the ChatMaxima dashboard that you and your team work in. It does not translate the messages you or your customers send.

10. Which language do my chatbots use?

Built-in bot wording follows the dashboard language of the account owner, not the individual agent, so your bots stay consistent for every customer regardless of which teammate is logged in.
